Freedom 2 Dance is thrilled to announce that a Student Helper Programme has been introduced at the Castleford based studio!

In accordance with the NextGen Coaching Collective programme, this will allow interested students to develop their dance class skills, providing them with greater opportunities and more recognition than simply assisting in class.
This is being launched as a way to offer dancers aged 11 + (yr 7 upwards) to take on leadership roles and responsibilities as official student helpers.
Via the Student Helper programme pupils will have the chance to assist teachers, helping them with setting up classes and demonstrating different dance techniques, as well as supporting their peers during classes.
The F2D Student Helper Programme has been introduced to promote leadership skills and social interactions. The Bronze, Silver and Gold awards provide participants with the opportunity to build on their creativity and personal growth.
Each stage of the programme builds on from the first Bronze level giving those F2D students, who want to be more proactive, the chance to develop problem-solving techniques whilst also increasing confidence.

Laura, F2D commented: “Michelle and I believe that the Student Helper Programme will enhance our students’ overall learning experience while building a sense of community among our young participants.”
Michelle concluded, “This is a valuable opportunity for our students in their development. We can't wait to introduce this exciting opportunity at Freedom 2 Dance, and we look forward to seeing our young participants thrive as student helpers!”
