Half Term Street Dance Workshop A Resounding Success!!

The Freedom2Dance team hosted a brilliant Street Dance Workshop at Half Term with the renowned choreographer, Jeffrey Felicisimo.

Both Junior and Senior dancers from F2D enjoyed this special, 3 hour workshop  where Jeffrey taught them some new skills and routines.

Jeffrey is very well known in the dance industry as a choreographer, performer, event organiser and is even a well loved judge on the competition circuit and when he can fit it in he is a DJ!.  His talents don’t stop there however, as he is also a member of the highly regarded, Flawless Crew! 

Flawless saw recognition on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, making the final alongside Diversity.  Since then Flawless have turned “street dance on its head” not just with their moves but through exceptional technical skill.  The dancers continue to create stunning routines that are considered key to street dance evolution. 

Having worked with many big names in the dance industry, Jeffrey remains passionate about sharing his experience and talent with younger dancers.

The F2D students were thrilled to be able to learn new ideas in Street Dance performance, as they worked on style and new routines. 

Laura commented, “Our Scholarship Fund from Morley Glass helped to fund the event, so we were delighted to be able to bring such a professional and dynamic dancer into the school for our students.”

Michelle commented, “Jeffrey was very generous with his time and everyone had an amazing day which included a Q&A session at the end!
