Dance School Door Policy

To ensure the safety and smooth operation of our dance school, we kindly ask all parents and students to adhere to the following door policy:

Entry Procedure:

Upon arrival at the dance school, parents and students must ring the intercom to request entry into the building.

Please wait patiently for a member of our staff to respond and open the door.

Ringing the Intercom:

Important: Do not ring the intercom multiple times. Our staff members will respond as quickly as possible.

In case there is no immediate response, please wait a few moments before considering to ring again.

Reception Area Conduct:

Parents and children waiting in the reception area are not permitted to open the door for anyone wishing to gain entry. Only a member of staff is authorised to open the door.

Children are not allowed to open the door to exit the building. They should ask a member of staff for assistance when they need to leave.

Reminder:

We warmly welcome parents to sit in the reception area, where you can enjoy a coffee and engage in conversations with other dance school staff and parents. We appreciate your presence and hope you feel at home while you wait.

Exiting the Building:

Parents exiting the building are asked to ensure that the door is fully closed behind them to maintain security.

 

Security and Safety:

The door will be opened only by a staff member after verifying the identity of the visitor through the intercom.

Please ensure that no unauthorised individuals enter the premises when the door is opened.

 

Respect for Others:

We ask all visitors to respect the calm and orderly environment of our dance school.

Repeated ringing of the intercom or impatient behavior will not be tolerated and may result in a review of your access privileges.

 

Safeguarding and Cooperation:

The enhanced security measures are in place to help safeguard all pupils, staff, and visitors. We hope that parents can work with us to ensure we adhere to the policy and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

 

Special Considerations:

If you or your child have specific needs that require special entry arrangements, please inform the school office in advance, and we will make the necessary accommodations.
