We’re Looking for Dance Teachers to Join the Freedom 2 Dance Team

Freedom 2 Dance is growing, and we’re excited to be looking for enthusiastic, reliable dance teachers to join our friendly team in Castleford. As our classes continue to develop, we are keen to welcome teachers who share our passion for dance, creativity, confidence-building and positive training experiences for children and young people.

Teaching at Freedom 2 Dance is about more than leading a class. It is about inspiring pupils, helping them believe in themselves, encouraging progress at every level and creating a space where dancers feel supported, challenged and proud of what they achieve.

Current Teaching Opportunities

We currently have opportunities for teachers in the following styles:

·       Commercial

·       Jazz

·       Lyrical

·       Acro Dance

You may be confident teaching several of these styles, or you might specialise in just one area. Either way, we would still love to hear from you. We value teachers who bring strong technique, creativity, patience and a genuine enjoyment of working with young dancers.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about helping children progress, build confidence and enjoy their training within a welcoming, professional environment. The right teachers for our team will be dependable, enthusiastic and able to motivate dancers while maintaining a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Experience working with children is important, as is the ability to plan engaging classes that help pupils grow in both skill and confidence. We are especially interested in hearing from people who understand the importance of encouragement, consistency and creating a safe space where dancers can learn, express themselves and enjoy being part of a team.

Acro teachers must be available on Saturdays, as this is when our Acro Dance classes take place.
