Freedom 2 Dance Finishes the 2026 Competition Season in Style

OTB Weekender, July, 2026 - what a fabulous weekend in Blackpool for F2D, one filled with teamwork, trophies, confidence and fantastic memories.

We are all safely home from Blackpool in one piece, and what a wonderful way to finish our 2026 competition season!

It was not just about trophies, placings or results. It was about everything that makes Freedom 2 Dance so special: teamwork, support, friendship, confidence and the joy of dancing together.

The Spirit of Freedom 2 Dance

Throughout the weekend, we saw our older dancers stepping up to support the younger ones, dancers cheering each other on from the sidelines, and everyone celebrating each other’s success. Those moments are what make competitions so meaningful.

The biggest win for us was seeing so many happy dancers doing what they love most. The smiles, laughter, friendships and growing confidence said it all. It was also lovely to see families enjoying a fun weekend together and making the most of every moment.

Celebrating Every Dancer

A massive congratulations to every single dancer who represented Freedom 2 Dance this weekend. A special shout-out also goes to everyone who made their finals. We came home with an incredible haul of trophies and awards, and we could not be prouder.

Our teams were phenomenal. The standard was exceptionally high, and every team left everything on that dance floor.

To every dancer, parent and supporter: thank you. You helped make this competition one to remember, and your encouragement, energy and commitment mean so much.

Now it is time to celebrate everything we have achieved this season… and then we will be ready to do it all again!
