Celebrating Success and Superstars at Freedom2Dance

We couldn’t let February end without highlighting a few of our superstars who never fail to show up and give their all.

By celebrating our young dancers, we feel it is important to honour their dedication, creativity, and progress each week. Introducing child-focused initiatives such as star of the week, pre-school classes and celebrating success for everyone, we believe we are fostering confidence and providing professional opportunities for the future for every student.

Our 1.5 – 3 years classes build self-confidence, friendship, and the joy of movement, enabling young dancers to explore their skills from an early age….and how they love f2D's Disco Duck.

Awards & Recognition: Our ‘Stars of the Week’ highlight achievements for all students, while specialized, high-level performances celebrate our rising stars.  We are sharing a few of these magical moments here:

Parental & Community Support: Celebrating success would not be possible without the crucial role of parents, Friends of Freedom2Dance and teachers who provide support for all our young dancers.  Their desire to help manage, coach and cheer our students on at every level on their artistic journey, cannot be underestimated.

Freedom2Dance celebrations are essential as they emphasize that every dancer's talent grows in its own time and that the focus should be on passion, progress, and the joy of movement. 

Super Celebrations

We can’t let the start of the year pass without mentioning a few of our Superstars who have celebrated their birthdays over the last couple of months.

Firstly, we just had to shine a light on Finley – what an F2D superstar!   - he regularly turns up every week with the biggest smile and such a contagious enthusiasm. He gives 100% and has a fabulous attitude particularly in his willingness to learn🙌✨

As a kind and caring F2D student we always appreciate him looking out for others 💚…with his infectious humour and that little cheeky sparkle, we’re so lucky to have you at the studio 🖤✨

Then there is Miss Belle!  Well, we simply couldn’t let this birthday pass without giving her day a mention.  Where would we be without her passion and enthusiasm for all of us at Freedom2Dance?.

It had to be done!!

More recently we celebrated Amy's birthday – our one and only atranquilsoul, who is very much a part of the F2D family.  The team loves having Amy and her yogis visit the studio every week. Helping her on her dance journey has been a real pleasure to watch over the years.  Happy 40th Amy!  

Now we cannot close this section without giving ourselves a good pat on the back and loud cheer!  11 years ago, it all began for Freedom2Dance and what wonderful memories we have from over the years that we can cherish.

From small beginnings we have grown into a truly special dance school. We’re now home to 250 incredible dancers, and are supported by a team of 6 amazing teachers.  Everyone shares the same love of dance and passion for this studio we proudly call home.

Every class, every performance, has shaped us into who we are today. Thank you to every single dancer, parent, teacher, and supporter who has been part of our story — past and present.

Here’s to many more F2D dancing years and stepping onto that wonderful dancefloor with pride and enthusiasm!
