Celebrating Our ‘Friends of Freedom 2 Dance’ Committee

Some Great Events From Last Year

Freedom 2 Dance would like to bring into focus the work of the charitable arm of the dance school.  Without the tireless efforts of the Friends of Freedom 2 Dance we would be unable to bring such positive opportunities for the students and teachers.

Throughout the year the Friends of Freedom 2 Dance committee develops initiatives and fundraising events to support pupils at the school on their dancing journeys.  

These initiatives improve morale across the school and drive the focus for the students.  For the school, Laura and Michelle feel that the F2D brand has been strengthened because of the support received by the Friends of Freedom 2 Dance.  

Laura comments, “Thanks to the support and innovation of the Friends of Freedom 2 Dance, our pupils gain such positive opportunities.  It would be difficult, if not impossible to run the programmes at the school, such as dancing with the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders or attending high profile competitions without their continued support.”

The committee is made up of parents and supporters of this school who all have the common interest of helping students accomplish their dance goals.  Each and every one of them volunteers their services in-kind which is vital to the continued success of F2D. 

Michelle comments, “We are so grateful to those who go above and beyond to help this school financially, enabling our students to enjoy some fantastic events.

Bringing everyone together to fundraise for F2D means so much and we draw on the experience of the fundraisers expertise - they make such a vital difference.  Over the course of this year we will be highlighting some of their philanthropic efforts to show just how hard they work and how important they are to the school.”

The fundraising arm continues to evolve each year with strategies and innovative events developed to advance the common good for everyone at Freedom 2 Dance. 

Laura concludes, “As the nonprofit fundraising arm the Friends of Freedom 2 Dance the committee focuses on helping and improving our pupils lives and we would be lost without them.”
