Celebrating Our F2D Dance Family

What an unforgettable evening we had with our community and dance family recently. We send a heartfelt thanks to our charitable division, our Parent Volunteer Committee, Friends of Freedom2Dance - without them we would be lost.
These wonderful parents dedicate so much of their own time behind the scenes to organise events and support the school. Their teamwork and commitment truly make a difference to our family dance community.
Their recent Parents & Adults Social Fundraiser was an outstanding success. With over 100 guests in attendance, the fabulous Drag Show Night, featuring the one and only #dame_ida_official, raised an impressive £1,343.75 to support the children and families of Freedom 2 Dance.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work
The success of this remarkable event was owed in large part to Becky, whose outstanding leadership and meticulous coordination were instrumental in bringing the evening to life.
From initial planning through to the final moments, Becky ensured every detail was handled with care and precision. Throughout, she was supported wholeheartedly by the dedicated members of the Friends of Freedom2Dance committee, who worked together seamlessly to ensure everything ran smoothly. This collaborative spirit truly exemplified the power of teamwork, and we are deeply appreciative of all their hard work and commitment.
A Night of Laughter and Joy
A special shoutout to Dame Ida, who was absolutely fantastic and had everyone laughing all night!
We would also like to thank the Roundhill Club Castleford for donating the arrival drinks and providing room setup, as well as all the parents, friends and supporters who attended and made the evening truly special.
We are so lucky to have such a supportive community around our dancers.
