Dancing Through Life – A Celebration of Friendship Through Dance
This year’s show is truly special. Not only are we marking 10 incredible years of Freedom 2 Dance, but we’re also celebrating something close to our hearts… friendship.
Miss Belle and Miss Laura met on their very first day of Year 7 at Castleford High – two girls with a shared dream and a love for dance. Their friendship became the foundation of a school that now feels like a second home to so many.
This show will explore every part of friendship – from playful beginnings to big adventures, challenges, and milestones. And at its core is one powerful message:
" Everything is better when we dance it together."

We’re inviting all dancers aged 5 years and above to take part in this exciting celebration.
What to Expect:
From September, dancers will begin learning their show routines during normal class time. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

Show & Rehearsal Details:
Performance Date:
Sunday 14th December
Dancers must be available from 12pm–6pm
Unity Hall, Wakefield
(Children will be chaperoned throughout and breaks will be provided)
Mandatory Rehearsals:
To ensure the performance runs smoothly, dancers must also be available for the following rehearsals:

Technical Rehearsal: Wednesday 10th December – from 4:30pm

Dress Rehearsal: Thursday 11th December – from 4:30pm

Cost To Take Part
To secure your child’s place in the show:

Pay a £10 non-refundable deposit via the members area of our website.

The remaining £40 is due by Wednesday 30th September

All costumes - please note a returnable £15 deposit will be required for the hire of your costume.
